Great quality of army green oilskin. Oilskin in a cotton treated with a wax that feels a bit greasy, and thus a specific type of waxed cotton. The fabric is water and dirt repellent and lasts for years when used normally. Just like leather, it gets its own characteristic look through use. Folds in the fabric can cause local color differences. This is completely normal and gives the fabric its charm. If the folds do bother you, you can heat the fabric locally so that the wax spreads evenly again.

Recommended processing:

• Use a sturdy (jeans) needle. Note: torning can leave holes in the fabric. Do not put in the washing machine.  
• Use a sponge or damp cloth to remove dirt, avoid detergents.
